Communication is a Fundamental Human Right.
Our vision is a world where being Deaf or Hard of Hearing is never a barrier to connection. We build dedicated technology modeled directly for deaf communication.
The Journey of GoVoBo
How we shifted from pandemic frustration to technical validation.
Why We Exist
Born from the global outcry during the pandemic, when masks and sudden shifts to virtual environments erected massive barriers. We realized the problem wasn't just poor tech - it was a lack of inclusive design from the ground up.
A Radically Different Approach
We knew that true access meant rewriting the baseline code. Instead of assuming all communication looks like a standard voice-call stream, we designed a platform from the ground up that includes how deaf and hard of hearing people communicate.
Deep Institutional Credibility
We aren't building this alone. GoVoBo is an active joint-venture partner with Gallaudet University - the global leader in Deaf education and research - and AppTek, a technical pioneer in high-accuracy automatic speech recognition.
GoVoBo's roadmap is grounded in research partnerships, active beta feedback, and the lived communication patterns that generic tools often overlook.
More Than Captions
Captions are only the baseline. GoVoBo is advancing conversational intelligence beyond text with visual signer priority spotlighting, automatic sign language detection, and multi-screen syncing that help users stay visible, follow the conversation, and actively participate in every discussion.
Where We Are Going
With support from the Verizon Accessibility Accelerator, we are bringing GoVoBo into live physical spaces, educational classrooms, and hybrid business environments globally. Together, we are changing the future of natural human-to-computer interaction, making technology more accessible for everyone, everywhere.
